The Labs, better known as the Hive, are shrouded in mystery and surrounded by rumors of inhumane practices. The Order, a secret society dedicated to advancing knowledge through research and investigation, runs these underground labs and takes advantage of the ready supply of prisoners to perform experiments that would never be permitted on the surface.

Rumors:

• The Hive offers volunteers money, food, and shelter, and surely the experiments can’t all be as bad as they say. Can they?
• A group of prisoners escaped from the Hive and are hiding in the tunnels. They are changed and twisted in terrible ways. Sometimes they can be heard howling. 
• Volunteers have returned describing impossible things, and others return with their minds shattered. 
• Some people say that the Guards sell problematic prisoners to the Order. 
• The Order knows ways to enhance your physical and mental capacities, such as strength, speed, and intelligence. 
• There are whispers that in the Hive, they have discovered a method to remove the collars which are used to stop the prisoners from escaping.
