Reign Ruin Rebirth

This very short and simple under-280-character story-game lets you build, destroy, and rebuild societies, alone or with friends. This can help bring depth and history to your RPG campaigns or fiction writing, or it can simply be a pleasant way to pass the time. 

Additional advice:

• You will need a book and at least one 20 sided die (or digital dice roller). 
• If you don't want to roll a d20, close your eyes and stab your finger down on a random part of the page. 
• If your selected line is at the end of the paragraph and doesn't have any interesting words, choose the line above or below. 
• To play solo, do each stage by yourself. You can write out each phases in a journal if you like, record an audio, or keep it in your head. 
• If you play with three people, each gets a phase. If you have more, build teams. 
• E-book readers work as well as books. Be gentle if you are stabbing down your finger. 
• This game works very well as a quick online Play by Post, or even as a short letter writing game.
